The last day of this year's summit of the European creative industries will take place in Berlin as part of the German EU Presidency and is the final political forum for shaping the future of our society and economy - the creative industries.
All the results of previous breakout sessions and discussions on the selected five topics - solidarity over charity, creative bureaucracy, innovations beyond the crisis, innovations that promote sustainability, and creative industries to rethink education, will be presented as the #ECIS2020 non-paper that will be a collection of all views and voices, about the future of the European Creative Economy under the light of this year’s Covid-19 pandemic. This paper can be used as a source of policy inspiration and recommendations to regional, national and even European policy makers.
The summit will be streamed to an European-wide audience made up of political decision-makers, EU representatives and German political decision-makers as well as entrepreneurs and companies from the cultural and creative industries. As every year, this European Creative Industries Summit is a central meeting place for the creative industries during the German EU presidency in 2020.
Together we will discuss the latest developments for European CCIs concerning the Covid-19 crisis. The conclusions of the BoS #1-5 will be presented to the representatives of the German EU Presidency and the EU Commission at the end of the conference.
